Tried setting the VM to sync with the host but with no luck, however manually configuring NTP to sync with fortiguard did the trick! Thank you /u/virtualbitz for suggesting NTP. Solved! It came down to me being used to not messing around with NTP on the older versions for them to work. Having tried the earlier versions (5.6.5-5.6.8) all of them work fine with no issues what so ever.Īm I completely missing something or is the evaluation just not working on 6.0.0+ ? I found a related thread with the same problem, however changing the mentioned settings do not seem to have any effect. I have tried with multiple versions of 6.0.0+ all getting the same result. This is 100% reproductive no matter what. What i am currently experiencing is the "Evaluation License" seems to expire the second the VM gets access to the internet. 4) Select 'OK' to upload the license file. 3) Select 'Upload' and locate the license file (.lic) on the computer. 2) In the Evaluation License dialog, select Enter 'License'. I am currenty messing around with a couple of Fortigate-VMs and am currently unable to use any of the Fortigate-VMs running on 6.0.0 and upwards. In the License Information section, go to the Virtual Machine row and select 'FortiGate VM License'.
